Takahiko skated Two programs during the festival. Orchestra version of Yesterday was his free program but he skated to original version along with this year's short program. For free program, he finished with deeper edge eagle which was modified from original free program. It was little surprise to me as I thought he'll skate to Staying Alive, which is this year's exhibition number.

So, I asked him a reason for not skating to Staying Alive. Then his answer was very touching to the fans in Nagoya as his reason was, there were no TV coverage of men's short program at Nagoya except for the satellite broadcasting so he wanted fans in Nagoya to enjoy the short program. 3Lz-3T was in the program as original short program but missed Axel...oops... |

He also made an unexpected performance to the fans after the short program !! He suddenly started talking through Microphone and told to the fans that he would mimic Daisuke Takahashi. I thought he would just make a pose like Daisuke but surprisingly the music of Daisuke came off from the speaker and Taka started the same straight line step sequence just as Daisuke and he even made deeper sit spin (oh well, lay back spin wasn't there...) and finishing pose is also the same as Daisuke. It was pretty cool and fans were very excited with his performance !! Please refer to his page for some photos.
